I'm quite sure many people are contracting both of COVID-19 & Influenza simultaneously at the moment sadly.
Many people think you can only be ill with one infection at a time.
That vaccines are a magical force shield.
Nope that's not how Reality works.

The human body is continuously infected at all times by a large, constantly changing variety of pathogens.
Vaccines at best mean you don't get noticeable symptoms or in the case of COVID etc often reduces them
