If you, like me, are the parent of a neuro-atypical child dreading this autism press conference, please remember: These are the people hurting our kids. Not us. They are the ones stigmatizing and pathologizing them. They are the ones peddling untested science. And we should be very, very angry.

Since people would have to boycott Marvel, Star Wars, the Muppets, ABC, Hulu, and Pixar, just to name a few entertainment brands, Disney doesn’t worry much about overall boycotts. HOWEVER... open.substack.com/pub/politicu...
This Is The Best Way To Boycott Disney
Many people on the left are talking about a boycott of Disney after they took Jimmy Kimmel off the air, but there is a better way than a boycott to really hit Disney where it will hurt.

Say you're in negotiations with counterparty X. And there are two possible deals on the table ...

Albertans have good reason to be angry: their real wages are down 10%, their minimum wage is frozen, their inflation is worst in Canada, their health care's at risk. None of that was caused by the rest of Canada. My take in today's @TorontoStar: www.thestar.com/business/opi.... #cdnecon

I just saw a good example of what I was talking about with chatgpt being a crackpot generating machine.

A guy had started Wheeler's Spacetime Physics, and had a problem on page 2.

Wheeler expressed a square root as a power of 1/2.

√a = a^1/2. This is basic algebra, not physics.

The reason why I cry listening to these old songs isn't because I want to return to the past.

It's through music that I get to bear witness to all my past selves. I can see the girl and woman I used to be. She doesn't know I'm there.

I know my future self is here, right now, watching these tears.
