Also as for my thoughts on prime 4 -
I think overall it is easily better than 3.
The art, music, and combat gameplay/bosses are easily the best in the series by far, and the world building/history of the planet is up there with prime 1 for me.
But-

I really hope they make mp3 remastered just because the mouse controls actually feel very nice and and is the only other Metroid prime game where combat isn't trivialized (and yes I have played it with prime hack)

I really hope they make mp3 remastered just because the mouse controls actually feel very nice and and is the only other Metroid prime game where combat isn't trivialized (and yes I have played it with prime hack)

In the next Metroid game, they should add like a "hard exploration" difficulty setting, where at some point in the story, the designated companion character just dies, and every subsequent cutscene that would have involved them just pans over to a view of their corpse instead.
