fwiw I had a lot of fun with the game (it and Arceus are the only Pokemons I've beat in the last decade). The tutorial is too long but after a bit it does open up a lot and there are a lot of side quests and zones.
It also got me through a lot of rough days & nights as the parent of a 4 month old 😆

Catching the tail end (I'll need to watch the vod) and I can tell this is one of those dangerous games where I'll go from not caring about it to wish listing it to buying it in a week.
