watching xabungle has somehow made me more of a hiroyuki kitazume hater. the physical comedy in xabungle is so good compared to how limp it is in gundam zz. i can only assume the difference is having tomonori kogawa as animation director (kitazume was animation director on zz)

please do something. anything. please at least today educate yourself about the Balfour Declaration (signed in 1917) and the Mandate for Palestine (drafted in 1919). it's been 100+ years. that's how far back this injustice goes. the world has watched for a century. it should not still be happening

The thing with bluesky using AI to moderate images isn't that it's training on them, think for 10 fucking seconds about it, but that they are saying "yeah we outsourced that shit entirely, we got no control over it. It says label, we label" etc

I see pieces like this a lot, often w/ a spin of lamenting cultural degeneration, but reading is a LABOR issue, it’s declined because so many people are working overtime or two jobs & employers expect after hours work. France has Earth’s highest reading rate b/c long lunch breaks & labor protections
