Apparently I'm obsessed with my new PS5, because I immediately dropped all my other plans to play a game I hadn't intended to get to yet on it: Yakuza: Like A Dragon. Granted, this may also be because of my partner playing Infinite Wealth right now.

Just ugly cried my way through the ending of Persona 3 Reload. Truly, it's one of the endings that hits harder when you know what's coming.

I can't agree more, and the man's work was criminally underappreciated (he did a great job on The Alliance Alive too!). So sad.
RIP to one of the greats. Murayama’s work on Suikoden had a profound impact on my life, and he had so much left to give. An incredible loss.

First game credit roll of the year: Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure on Switch! What a charming game, though definitely could have used more signposting on where to go. But it is a port of an older title, after all. End game puppets: Sharte, L-Kun, and Flare.

Started Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure on Switch today. Played for hours and hours. It's light and fluffy and just what my *keyboard smash* brain needs right now.

In an attempt to cope better with my sound sensitivities, I've order the Loop Switch earplugs. I hope they work well for me. Noise is so overwhelming. 👉👈

- I do not like X-COM style strategy games.
- Apparently I forgot how much I like simulation games when I'm braindead (Power Wash Simulator... oddly satisfying).
- Never say never when it comes to something being remastered (Baten Kaitos!).

More Baten Kaitos has been played. Doing some of the pre-final dungeon side stories. Will not do Mizuti's. I have played this game before and I'm not enough of a masochist to play the *hard* part of Zosma's Tower a second time.

I've been blasting through Baten Kaitos EWLO on Switch, fucking love playing this game again. I do hope the new joycons I finally ordered arrive in good time; not only are my old ones shot, but my Switch wired controller is also not working properly now... 😮💨

So two days ago I started the fan translation of Persona 2: Eternal Punishment PSP. It's well done, and I'm enjoying the hell out of it. The story is great so far and I love the older cast.
