The Trump era in a nutshell:

Ordinary citizens are holding ICE accountable, while large law firms are doing nothing.

Small businesses are speaking out, while large corporations remain silent.

Independent media show moral urgency, while legacy media reports "both sides."

It’s crazy to have SIX dedicated security lines at LaGuardia airport just for Clear & give them priority at the THREE general boarding lanes. This is a tax-payer funded airport that seems to be trying to force people to give their biometric info over to a private company or get squeezed & squeezed.

After seeing an account spreading #TigrayGenocide denial on this here commenting on this thread, I created a list called #TigrayGenocide deniers & @bsky.app hid it saying it violates their "guidelines".

Genociders pass the guidelines but raising awareness about violent event denial violates them?

Racism is why we can’t have nice things. So many White people want to make sure Black people don’t benefit from policies and programs. So much effort is put into keeping our people down.

White ppl (*especially* alleged allies) have shown their whole ass over Black folks not performing for their comfort. Meanwhile had they spent this much energy talking to their fellow white people we wouldn't be here.

Seems to me what we’re seeing across the federal government are the dividends being paid from years of adopting market language to talk about public goods. Run government like a business? Businesses exist to make profit. Government exists to serve the people. We’re about to see the difference now.
