Hell it’s hard to even measure my own angle. Cause I’m standing with it.

The best I can do is know the length of the hand holds and the distance of my feet from the wall. I do this by noting the Notch length and 4” increments on the floor.

Today I’m going to attempt, yet again what I have found to be one of the most difficult body weight exercises.

The Bicep Pelican Curl. I’m going to aim for eccentric only to make it more sustainable.

It’s normally with rings but I’m using my TRX. Previous attempts have been pretty rough.

Trans Day of Remembrance,

As a parent I choose to love my child or not.

I choose Love.

For anyone else, you choose to accept or not.

But ask yourself?
Does my non-acceptance, contribute to a dangerous culture of fear?

I don’t think a belief is good if it can cause harm. Do better.

Whew that’s all of it!

I can more or less accomplish anything I could do at a commercial gym at this point.

But I keep saying that and finding new tools.

It keeps going!
Ab Roller for when you hate life.

Sliders for all occasions, lately it’s brutal hamstring bridge curls.

Captains of Crush (best brand name ever) grips 80 and 100 lbs.

Nordic Curl (hooks under door) lets you do Ham curls or using the ball I can do Back Extensions.

Dips bars, Weighted Vest (4-40 lbs), Parallette Bars (push exercises with greater ROM and neutral grip.

PVC stretch bands are essential for mobility warmups and combined with the TRX hook I can do Hamstring Curls.

Essential pull up bar, extras are looped pads for doing leg lifts etc without being grip reliant.

Vinyl Dumbells were an early get. Later I got adjustable which go between 5-70 lbs.

A box flippable gym box is great for raising me up for pull-up eccentrics.

Visual Timer, it’s an ADHD tool that is a great idea for gym breaks. My ADHD tends to underestimate 2-3m so this helps me stay rested between sets.

Swissies are game changers for switching to a neutral grip.

PVC ball for Back extensions, Leg Weights in 2 sizes for when you need them.

Speaking of Comfort, Grip pads that aren’t gloves so your hands can breathe. Wrist wraps were the Best Buy, they stabilize wrists on heavy push pulls and a lifting belt which is essential if you like your back the way it works.

Compact Squat Press rack, really nice plastic/rubber ring clips (so much better than those aluminum things you squeeze. Also a Velcro pad for squats because I like comfort!
November 15, 2025 at 2:04 AM
Basic Bench, Compact plate rack and 2 bars. Both bars are 2” though the main is a shorter 5ft as a full Olympic bar would hit the ceiling on my storage rack. EZ bar is great for arm stuff.

It all started here in 2022 when my sister gifted me a TRX, a suspension trainer. I quickly acquired a large Gorilla area floor mat.

I’ve lined it out every 4” which lets me consistently place gear and feet anytime I’m hitting the weights.

For fitness nerds I took a video of my use of Swissies for Dead Lifts. They shift your grip to neutral which is way more comfortable.

2 warm up sets @ 88 and 118 lbs
2 sets of 8 @ 183 lbs

Backers are starting to get their Blue Planet books and it's nice to see how marvelous my maps turned out. Now that is a nice inside cover spread.
