Here's the deal y'all. These people are gormless morons. You have PhDs and they have fleshlights and restraining orders. GET CREATIVE. There are 20 terms you can use instead of each of those. It SUCKS I know. Your grandfathers got creative to kill Nazis. You gonna give up so easily? USE YOUR BRAINS
🚨BREAKING. From a program officer at the National Science Foundation, a list of keywords that can cause a grant to be pulled. I will be sharing screenshots of these keywords along with a decision tree. Please share widely. This is a crisis for academic freedom & science.

I stand in solidarity with Tufts full-time lecturers (non-tenure-track faculty) both because I rep them and know them well, and also not for that reason at all. (thread) 1/
With 1 day to go, Tufts full-time lecturers (FTLs) have hit 93% in their work stoppage authorization vote. Admin has yet to propose both livable salaries & manageable workloads.

Use our template to tell admin: they can stop this at any point by making a fair offer. docs.google.com/document/d/1...

Storygraph is the best! Lots of satisfying charts and a nice community where anyone can make and join reading challenges. I've found so many great books that way!
people who use goodreads: jeff bezos owns goodreads and if you want a better alternative there is a black woman owned company called storygraph that you can use to replace it. you can transfer all of your data from goodreads to storygraph and have your mind be free of trumpie jeff bezos! win win. 💙
