And this is to say nothing about the clear bizarro behavior of the Secret Service, who let him stand up and wave his fist when the area was NOT cleared.

It would also be really cool to have someone ask him about that email Social Security recipients got that falsely told them there are no more taxes on Social Security thanks to Trump, when in reality what's in the bill is more complicated and nuanced and not exactly that. Why are we being lied to?

The right to peacefully protest is fundamental.

It is in the Constitution.

No president can nullify it—because in the United States of America, we have no kings.

On June 14—Flag Day—Donald Trump wants tanks in the street and a made-for-TV display of dominance for his birthday. A spectacle meant to look like strength. But real power isn’t staged in Washington. ...

Didn’t Trump refuse to attend the dignified transfer of four Army soldiers who died during a military training mission—just to attend a Saudi-backed golf dinner with his billionaire Saudi donor buddies?

This parade isn’t about honoring the Army’s anniversary. It’s 100% about boosting Trump’s ego.

Just FYI because evidently Fox or OAN or whatever is pushing the lie that America accepted the Statue of Liberty and that’s equivalent to the plane.

Congress VOTED to approve receiving the statue. So congress should vote on the jet

When the President of the United States says he doesn’t know if he should uphold the Constitution, it should be a searing red line for every American.

If you let him ignore ANY aspect of the Constitution you embolden him to ignore more of it, including the parts that secure YOUR freedoms & rights.

DOGE initially promised to save taxpayers $2 trillion.

Now it admits it's only delivered $160B in cuts.

And even those minimal savings are nearly wiped out by the cost of implementing DOGE's cuts: $135B.

We're losing vital government services for basically nothing in return.

I love NPR and PBS
The Public Broadcasting Act of 1967 created the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. I reread it today; nothing in the law allows a president to defund PBS and NPR. In fact, Congress specifically sought to insulate public media from political pressure.
