When I worked in government we paid for our own bottled water delivery and a fridge. We had a monthly collection and new staff bought in while old staff were bought out of the fridge. We couldn’t use appropriated $ for our benefit. DOGE is gov waste.
DOGE cut off payments for the electricity, cell phone, and internet service of U.S. government employees who work in a high-risk area in Central America.
Meanwhile, DOGE apparently plans to spend $25,000 to install a washer and dryer for their own personal use in a federal office building in DC.

America missed the mark. We could’ve had it made in the shade. Regardless of how you felt about these women, they was not going to FIRE ppl. They wasn’t gonna kick ppl off Medicare, Medicaid, Food Stamps, federal jobs, etc. They wanted the American ppl to have human rights!

I got laid off today, with the rest of 18F.
18F was an elite federal software shop. We made gov't websites work better, more efficiently for the American people. We saved taxpayers from getting screwed over by contractors. And were fired for it.

Sweetie, WE are our leaders. There's no one, nada, zilch in DC that is capable of leading an opposition to the fascist. They're constrained by coloring in the lines.
Ethics matter more to women than to men (sorry to say). Studies have shown that women in leadership positions are more likely to confront unethical behavior than men. So put more women in power.

It is devastating for the parents. But let’s put the blame on the tech oligarchs who refuse to moderate content and create algorithms that drive false content. And the politicians who lie and the press reporting “both sides” of settled science.
It’s absolutely insane what those parents are doing to their children. It borderlines on abuse.
