Sorry to be a doomer here. I think in political commentary social media, 2025 will be a bad year. Musk has helped far-right extremists launch a comeback. On twitch and YouTube far-left extremists or "tankies" are growing. I think those two will dominate 2025. And it will suck for Libs like us.
I would argue that a lot of the people who are left leaning on the internet are tankies and authoritarians. Liberal voices need to join to combat this.

Instead of Gaetz becoming AG and Santos building up political capital, Gaetz has now joined Santos on Cameo. There's still *some* poetic justice in the world.
Remember when George Santos valiantly returned to the Capitol on Matt Gaetz's behalf to advocate for an accused child sex predator? And then Gaetz withdrew anyway and now Santos is just on record having supported an alleged statutory rapist? Hope it was worth it!
