i get sad and frustrated at home many creative opportunities seem to assume you’re a full time freelancer or independent practitioner when thats so rare for so many of us.

Creative socials that are only in the morning on a weekday, month long residencies that only give a couple of months to apply

I managed to get 24hr comic day DONE this year! Sketched up all the pages within 8 hrs, but I'm going to slowly get round to inking this I think. Ruining your sleep schedule to attempt this may not be worth it when you have a full time job

It used to be tradition in some Spider clans to have young adults journey alone for a few months, prove they can survive on their own and navigate the dangers of the world.
Orion told herself, "this is just like that. I'll be fine".

my biggest self pub warning is don't do your inners in a dark colour unless you're prepared to carry a light coloured posca with you to every event for the rare occasion someone wants your to sign something

do a poster or ANOTHER comic on the back of your beak zine! make a pattern for your inner covers!!
