Alright it's time for me to wade into the Gen "AI" debate regarding game development and concept art. You can probably guess my stance is against it. For so many reasons. Ethical, environmental, etc. But in the end it just makes for a generic, bad product.

When I was a kid I went to a local mall opening, it was insane. We had celebrities, everything was packed. Last time I was home I went and the place was empty. That mall was my safe place as a teen in 90s, now its dead. I left sad, I'd like to leave the US now too.

I understand from a technical perspective why modern TV's dont have picture in a picture, but it still feels like a step backwards. I'm having to use my 75" TV to craft in FFXIV and watch video on my tiny phone screen and it feels wrong.

Just so I'm clear on this, computer memory has tripled in price because a bunch of it that hasn't been produced yet has been ordered to populate GPUs that aren't installed in data centers that aren't built yet in order to service a demand that doesn't exist to make profits that don't happen.

As if I had any more reasons not to like this season, I was informed, that I have lupus. The main catalyst to detect it was the recent liver procedure. It helped narrow it down quite a bit.
