This one's quite different mechanically from Lorn's Lure, and the 2000s design is hit-or-miss (like the guns) but still lovely to spend time with.

Lorn's Lure became a favorite (that came out last year). The climbing gear is the best successor to the Half Life crowbar.

Somehow, the most impressive part was getting UE4 crashing a PC into a hard reboot multiple times. It feels like I'm too old for parkour games, but maybe it just felt too similar to the first one.

Since I immediately recognized the "Train" boardgame when reading "Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow", I wasn't aware of it being considered plagiarism until the end. Definitely somewhere on the [pop-culture reference; blatant theft] spectrum, but nowhere near the edges.

Absolutely amazing art/animation, but straightforward (compared to Celeste or VVVVVV) platforming.

Enjoyed Cocoon for the Big Dumb Object exploration, but the puzzles having video-gamey logic instead of indecipherable alien mystery takes away from immersion.
