Finished DK Land earlier, so I moved on to Donkey Kong Land 2.
Unsurprisingly, just like the console game, the movement in 2 feels so much better! These levels are also way bigger than the first DK Land.

Finished Donkey Kong Land 1.
My only handheld DK experience growing up was (unfortunately) the GBC version of DKC, so I never got to try the Land games. I just assumed they'd be as rough as that port.
But... nope, it's good!

Unironically though, the main thing I find myself using the app for is Nintendo 365. Just kinda fascinating to see what games share a release date over the years.

I'm looking forward to the inevitable part 2, but if there's one thing I want from it, it's a little more focus. This one goes big, with lots of fun match-ups, but a side effect of that is that it doesn't get to breathe in the same way that, say, Batman/TMNT did.

Sat down tonight to read DC X Sonic.
These DC crossover comics are usually a fun time, and that remained true here. Great art throughout, fun action, and considering Flash is my favorite superhero, his interactions with Sonic made the whole thing worth it.

Started playing Donkey Kong Land 1 on the Game Boy. On World 3 now.
I was just expecting worse DKC1, but honestly? I'm having fun! Levels are fun (tho the controls are a bit stiff compared to DKC) and the Game Boy remixes of DKC1 music kinda bops.

Finished reading Across the Massive-Verse Vol. 1, which collects the first issues of 4 different series.
Rogue Sun and Inferno Girl Red definitely clicked for me the most! Radiant Black was fun, but I know it takes a few issues to really get the ball rolling. Dead Lucky seems interesting.

This just reminded me that the Castle in the Sky one is out of print.
It was the only version of the blu-ray to have the English dub with the beautifully redone orchestral soundtrack. Streaming and the other blu-ray only offer the original synth score.
