There's a connection that can be made between the "Sell off 3.3 million acres of public land" part of HR 1 and the "Triple the budget for ICE and detention facilities" part of HR 1... Republicans are using their big (bullshit) bill to fund Trump's police state.
Florida officials, including the state’s Attorney General who was just found to be in contempt of court, want to turn a piece of the Everglades into the state's largest immigration detention facility.
