And I don't see how it will have the effect they are hoping, since trans men will now be forced to use female toilets and changing rooms. How will the women who are uncomfortable around people who are not feminine enough feel with a fully transitioned trans man in their spaces?

Trans women are women, trans men are men, and non-binary and intersex folks are valid just as they are. It's time this was reflected in the law of the land, and LGBT+ Lib Dems will be at the forefront of pushing for that change.
