Our local Joann store is in its final days. I came home with a couple of their display signs as keepsakes. (Don't worry, I asked first!) I'm really going to miss this place.

I picked mine up at Joann's. (20% off since the store is closing 😭) You can also find them online as silicone "hexagon beads" for pens & jewelry. Oh! And Joann might have some in their bead section under the Hildie & Jo brand.

I'm having a lazy Saturday & knitting an easy blanket so I can relax & watch TV. I realized this morning that this yarn reminds me of SweeTarts so no wonder I liked it. Bonus: Grabbed some point stopper beads that look like they belong at a D&D game, plus most of them glow in the dark.

I've been channeling some of this HRRHGHH energy into knitting for my BAB plushies. I think I've nearly got Isabelle's sweater right, plus look at my neat Christmas tree cake needle stoppers! Also trying to use more vintage/repurposed/thrifted yarn & notions. This vest was made with new old stock.

Important follow-up: One booth had fandom themed yarn sets & I HAD to get the Haunted Mansion themed mini skein set. Fangirl Fibers is the vendor & they were tons of fun to talk to!

Please enjoy a couple pics from last weekend's daytrip to Chattanooga for the Scenic Stitches Fiber Fest. My swag includes the Muppets bag, some 3D printed crochet hooks & 3 Doodle Deck pattern sets! I'll have to post about yarn later but it was all so pretty & fun to touch.

Thrift Score Update: MICKEY WAFFLES!
There's always a learning curve with any waffle maker, but these still turned out tasty. It works beautifully too. I'll need to look into the mix that WDW uses!
