Well my ACA premiums are going from $650/month (Gold plan with extended tax credits) to $884/month (Bronze plan without subsidy). The same Gold plan would have cost $1180/month. I’m already looking at where I can cut my spending because of the higher cost. I’m also wondering if any of 1/?

Welp looked at my ACA premiums and the comparable plan is going to be $1100/month (just me). I’m currently paying $654/month with a subsidy. Yes it’s a gold plan but I have a chronic illness so not a candidate for a HDHP. FML.

My adult daughter FaceTimed me yesterday in the middle of the afternoon. I was very concerned because she rarely FaceTimes and never during the workday. SHE GOT A RAISE AND A PROMOTION and wanted to share the good news!! New title: Senior AI Software Engineer!!! #onegoodthing

Almost finished reading Southernmost by Silas House on the plane to Denver and I’m absolutely gutted. Maybe because the book opens with a flood and my heart is tender after the Texas floods. Or really, his writing is just THAT good.
