Benefit of the doubt is a gift:

Daniel Penny got the benefit of the doubt that his chokehold wasn’t meant to kill.

Jordan Neely, who shouted but never put hands on anyone, wasn’t given the benefit of the doubt if he was a danger to others.

One is free because of it, one is dead because of it.

What does creating the plot feel like to you?

Like waking up after a dream and furiously scribbling down what you dreamt but looking back at it and having no idea where half of it came from so you fill in the blanks as best you can.
What does creating the plot feel like to you?

Like trying to finish a puzzle, except someone ate bits of some of the pieces, and I have to find *some* way to get those bits back.

Also, pieces keeps magically appearing out of nowhere, but I'm not sure that they're from this puzzle.
What does creating the plot feel like to you?

Like watching a film in my head where all the scenes are fleeting and out of context, and trying to recapture & stitch their vibes together with nothing but pins and red string, while muttering “wait what if it went like THIS—?!?” to myself
