I've made a working prototype. This rotates about a pin on the lid that sits in the hole at 12:00 and rotates to latch onto a pin that will slide into the slot.
The 1 thing I haven't figured out yet, how do I keep it from falling off the pin. I think I need something more than a tight fit.

As a reminder, this is what it looks like. In order to make this look good I would have to cut all the way down to the mahogany. maybe even remove all the maple under the hinges and replace it with mahogany.

Here's the final product. The only thing I gotta fix is the spell slots section. I want the "X"s to go away when I level up to more available slots, but the function wasn't working properly. The code is right, I used the same code for other parts of it, it just didn't want to work.

I spent a full 12 hours straight without so much as a bathroom break building this, and I haven't even gotten to the spells section. I spent all day between the D&D players' handbook and Excel functions Google searches to make sure that when I go up a level everything that's supposed to update does.

I've been to this town. My GF at the time took me there for a 3 day weekend. I didn't know the significance of the resort town until we drove by this sign on the way home. She kinda brushed it off like 'no big deal'. That's when I knew the relationship had no future.

Sometimes my obsessiveness takes over and drives me to make stupid decisions. I tweaked his facial expressions, hair, and other color features and placed the order. You can play "spot the difference" if you're so inclined and/or really bored.

The "create your own fully customizable, no painting needed, miniature maker" website really should let you know it's gonna cost $65 BEFORE you spend hours creating your little guy.
