This and giving MLS/NWSL/Club STHs in host markets first crack at WC tickets seem like big no-brainers on using the WC to drive attention to the domestic leagues (which should be a key goal of hosting the WC in a place like the U.S.).

Pritzker/Newsom see it as a defining fact of the moment that Trump is consolidating authoritarian power daily and using it to subjugate Blue America like an enemy nation within. Other Dems should stop the Beltway-speak about Trump laying "traps" for them and engage.

Wild to me that they were selling Philadelphia Phillies regular season divisional champs shirts in the Philly airport the day after they clinched, but the Fanatics MLS store has nary a supporters’ shield shirt in sight for the Union.

It bears repeating that the second most popular (now) professional sports league in the United States (NCAA Division 1 College Football) is a second division league with no path for teams to be promoted to the first division (The NFL).
