I created a google doc of the age of current MLS stadiums. This isn't about how long teams have played there, just when the stadium opened. Soldier field is exactly 1 year older than PP, but nothing else comes close.
Chart of MLS Stadium Ages. This has nothing to do with how long the teams have played there, just when the stadium at the location is listed ads opened on wiki.

Portland and Chicago are outliers on the old end, with Vancouver next oldest.

Seattle Reign's Sofia Huerta has joined the ownership group of AC Boise (USL League 1/Super League)

“I wasn’t sure something like this would ever happen in Boise—so when the opportunity came, it was an easy decision.”

More (from 2022) on Idaho's role in her journey:

USWNT's Sofia Huerta started with Mexico, then moved from forward to defender. Is the World Cup next?
Sofia Huerta's road to the USWNT included a stint with Mexico and several new positions. Now, she could be a key figure at the World Cup.

Following a combination of results we have clinched a spot in the Audi 2025 MLS Cup Playoffs.

I’m jealous of MLS supporters who’s teams finish the season with single digits in the loss column.

Based on the coaches needing to be kept separate after the final whistle, I'm gonna guess that postgame press conferences will be fun today
soccerwatcher.bsky.social
My “for the situation” clarification; Phil came in to a club that was dropping in stature, on and off the field. I think he’s at least done the minimum to stop that drop. This offseason would be a great time to bring in that “sharper coach”.

I think the team is at another crossroad. Personally, I think Neville has done an OK job for the situation but now the team is stuck again. To me it’s clear he’s hit his ceiling. All emotion and no tactics. Players and fans deserve better and expect more than that.

Misidentifying players is what I’ve seen. It’s not an easy job but player identification is the most important behind the scenes job in the club. It’s unclear who the team relies on to do this work. Sure the GM / FO has the final say but who’s responsible in the network before it gets that far?

Cut and paste responses from the manager. Not good enough from him.

He’s a third choice but on this roster he’s a starter. Difficult situation.

2025 is the first full year in which the Timbers have failed to beat the Sounders since 2017, which was the last time that the Sounders beat the Timbers at Lumen prior to tonight. #RCTID

Score wise, at 0-1 it kept Timbers in the game. Play wise, not so much. Costa was marginally better than a ghost. Velde is either not being used correctly or he’s a total spaz. Finn’s the best player on the squad and it ain’t close.

Congratulations to @philadelphiaunion.com for winning the @mls.bsky.social Supporters' Shield. Every other team in the Shield race had a dip at some point over the past couple of months, but the Union never did. Incredible job by Bradley Carnell. #DOOP

Better lineup than I was predicting. Still a big ask without Pants and Dario. My concern is if Sounders get two goals I’m not convinced Portland has enough attack to match that.

At home this year, D.C. United was 0-7-7 against Eastern Conference opponents, 2-1-0 vs Western.

DCU was winless in its final 11 home league matches over five months (0-6-5).

I didn't watch any of it except the red card clips, but I've got a sneaking suspicion this was one of the handful of worst games in MLS history.

Truly a one-of-one kind of shotmap.

With Pants out and if Zuparic is also out, this is going to be very difficult to get anything from this match. Seattle has at least 2 goals in them. I don’t see how Timbers are going to be able to keep up with that. Frustrating

Didn’t realize that James Pantemis was out for this game. Anyway, here are the respective availability reports:

Only two on this list I’d be interested in keeping (Paredes / Zuparic)
