Came here from the other app. I enjoy bird watching, dog walking, science fiction, the Oxford comma, and trivia! I exercise only because I like to eat.
Funny story: Dog’s new license came in, so I took off her collar to switch out the tags.
New tag isn’t identical, so the collar makes a slightly different noise.
I put the collar back on her, and she kinda freezes with her ears all wonky at the new noise.

I feel like there should be better/clearer warnings on household chemicals. My mother-in-law just cleaned up a big spill of barkeeper’s friend powder with her bare hands. I would have been wearing a mask/goggles/gloves.

I e wanted to see these wild canids since I was a little girl, decades ago. These are at the Portland zoo, but I teared up a bit seeing them. I hope they’re reasonably happy there. Their wild brethren are in a tough spot.
