This sort of response always tells you so much about the person making the statement. The details of this arrest contradicts everything Hersh has claimed, but it's not really about that, it's about your side being right and the other wrong, not about pesky things like facts or evidence.

The idea that President can negotiate/dictate bilateral “deals” by using the full force of the federal government to punish and humiliate his perceived enemies goes against the whole idea of the rule of law. That should be the story, rather than normalizing this authoritarian behavior.
