My biggest benefit from studying English was, as mentioned below, better critical thinking skills. Now, why would a bullshit-monger like Badernoch want to limit access access to such courses?

It's an enigma wrapped in a mystery.

Rather than pointing out how much tax I've put back into the system thanks in part to my 'rip-off' English degree, I'll point out how much it broadened my knowledge of a subject I studied because I cared about it. It also gave me the critical faculties to see through sneering balls like this.

Kemi doesn't want people doing degrees that make them more rounded human beings or equip them with critical thinking skills. Of course she doesn't.

She'd been hit by a car, but fortunately just a glancing blow. Had an injured wing, but she recovered well, probably because she was so young.
