Careful with that vague description.

I’ve had neighbors who thought the appropriate distance was much less than 100 ft. We disagreed on this distance being appropriate. I would have put that number much higher, and added a row of tall bushes to that for good measure. 🫣

There was a neighborhood cat that loved the snow. At night we’d call out to alert it, then shine a red laser light into the snow. That thing glowed tremendously in the snow. Then we’d wait & listen for the sound of the cat racing through the snow across the yards to attack the dot.

It really is. I missed seeing them this last summer.

…And sharks are clearly attracted by ice cream (I have a graph so it must be true)

I was wondering how cold you guys would get. I was looking at the wind maps last night and noticed the winds from Canada mixing with winds from the Gulf form a line running from Chicago through St Louis down to Dallas. I knew once that line moved east, it was gonna get cold.

Bah! Now it’s 15°F at 6 am. Way too cold and way too early in the morning. I’m ready for spring.

It was both, at least for me until the cat teeth were unsheathed. Then it was “No” on all counts.

Corollary thought…

Is there anything as painful as a cat trying to pierce your ear while you are in a moment of quiet contemplation? 😾
