This is extortion. Faculty, students, staff, alumni across the country need to get to their Presidents & Trustees today. Just say no. This blackmail only works if most everyone folds. Capitulation now means the end of American higher education for a generation. www.nytimes.com/2025/10/02/u...

We are witnessing a full blown war on science, public health & truth itself.

Let me be clear: Vaccines have prevented more than 1.1 million deaths, 500 million cases of illness & 32 million hospitalizations.

That's a lot of moms and dads who don't have to bury their children.

The one-sided quest for bipartisan unity results in a constant moving of the goalposts rightward. That is the consistent lesson of the last 20 years of American history. A mistake that we seem condemned to repeat.

On the same day the FDA restricted access to COVID vaccines, the CDC director was sacked and top CDC scientists are resigning.

And it’s barely been two weeks since an antivax conspiracy theorist fired 180 bullets at CDC headquarters.

None of this is making America healthier. What a disaster.

NEW 🚨 The violence is the point. Elected Dems must call for widespread resignations (RFK, Bhattacharya, Prasad) in response to the CDC shooting. The newspapers are not making a big deal of this today. This is a big deal. Someone shot into a Federal building repeatedly, fueled by misinformation and politics. It should be front page news across the country.
we are extremely fortunate that no CDC workers were shot yesterday in the attack targeting them. around a dozen floors in the headquarters buildings had windows pierced by bullets.

RFK Jr. posted this with his official gov’t account yesterday.

In the video, he says “Should doctors make decisions based on what’s best for their patients, or based upon what makes them the most money?”.

Hours later a man who believed the COVID19 vaccine harmed him opened fire on the CDC.

This is a travesty & a nightmare. The US was a founder of @gavi.org. It lowers global vaccine costs, has vaccinated 1B children, & averted 19M deaths. This pull out will cost 100s of thousands of children's lives a year - and RFK Jr will be personally responsible.
