In today's episode of Honestly ADHD Might Kill Me, I've been staring at my screen for nigh on 5 hours trying to summon the motivation to write an email. The email is to my psychiatrist's PA to book an appointment to get my ADHD prescription reviewed before I run out of meds. Oh the irony.

I am getting bombarded, BOMBARDED, with right wing content on Instagram these days. Despite repeatedly blocking accounts, marking as not interested, adding words to my muted list etc etc.
I try not to be too conspiracy theory-y, but feels like they're slowly forcing a take over on IG as well 😒

Ok friends, let's talk #ADHD meds, esp late diagnosed women in their 30s. I have been on Concerta XL now for sometime, and at no point have I felt like it is helping my symptoms in any way shape or form. I just don't understand if my expectations are out of whack, or if it doesn't work for me?

I can confirm the majority of us really really really don't feel this way.
I absolutely adore my GP. Like a weird amount. She is funny, kind, engaged in my issues, listens to me, pivots to serious the second she needs to. She's a gem and I am so lucky to have her.

I was just also reflecting, whilst again taking a break from ADHD disrupted house work, that one of the things I like most about bluesky only 48hrs in, is that it's not tied to my other socials. Unlike threads which is inextricably linked to my IG which was not what I want at all.
