Imagine if there were regular polls on "diabetic issues", as well as breathless news articles on "diabetic ideology" and politicians giving speeches about the "diabetic agenda".

Healthcare is healthcare, period.
Polling on trans issues is difficult to interpret. It becomes even more difficult when pollsters use politically charged terms like 'transgender ideology.'

Great new analysis by @billiejsweeney.bsky.social, only on Assigned Media.

“What does <insert minority here> mean and what rights do <members of minority> have?” is spectacularly shitty framing, regardless of the minority in question.

Don’t believe me? Put any minority group other than “trans” in the headline…
Spectacularly poor reporting by BBC. Framing for how they represent Sex Matters and LGB Alliance arguments compared to @transactualuk.bsky.social and @stonewalluk.bsky.social alone is hostile, but it's added to by a embedding offensive narratives about trans individuals.

What does trans mean and what rights do transgender people have?
The UK Supreme Court's definition of a woman in equalities law has significant implications for transgender people.

Social media is awash with videos of men filming themselves approaching women in public spaces and attempting to flirt. In many cases, the videos are filmed and uploaded without the women’s consent. https://cnn.it/4qtIsvB

Lots of us are complaining to the bbc about the pain this causes, how it triggers our dysphoria, and yet all we get is a proforma response saying it’s ’not their intention to cause offence’🤬 Surely if they know it’s causing offence and they continue to do it, it’s intentional?
BBC persists in referring to trans and non-binary individuals as "biological X who identify as X". It's a line routinely used by gender critical groups to dismiss trans and non-binary individuals' identities.
That framing has been shown to cause distress. It definitely isn't "unbiased reporting".
