This remake was poorly received, so it's more of a curiosity - the story is a fan favorite, but the game is stiff and the visuals are meh (except the excellent portraits)
War of Genesis 2 itself was already an expanded remake of the 1st, I went over the series' past here:

My hot take this week is that we need another 3D squad-based RPG like The Last Remnant. Any person of lordly caliber knows the style has been dead for far too long!
Not only it's a fun change to party-building & tactics, it's fun to see such big groups fighting or pilling up on a dragon lol

Great video on one of the hidden CRPG gems - Neverwinter Nights 2: Mask of the Betrayer.
I reckon that most people will not be willing to deal with NWN2's engine to play this, so might as well at least get an overview of its epic story & lore in this video (there's way more to see if you play it).
