Both orders are genuinely fascinating beyond the military stuff, the teutons were a full-on self governing nation for a while and the templars sort of stumbled into operating the world’s first international bank.

People are so fed up with democrat leadership though. Mayor of NYC isn’t hugely impactful in the grand scheme of things, but mamdani’s victory has given me a spark of hope the old guard can finally be forced to relinquish power.

Did they murder your family in front of you or something? You’re free to not like and criticize their work but unless they’re using AI saying they’re “bad people” is extreme. Studio Ghibli is an animation studio that makes good movies, not a religious idol you need to defend against heretics.

I know! When I was fleshing out the characters for my game capstone project it was so fun to sit down with the artists and hash out who these characters are and what they look like. (I also got to give a mini lecture on Roman legionnaire armor and my rant about why liches need to be all bone)

I have no direct insider knowledge but my understanding is that naughty dog is notorious for crunch. Also another commenter pointed this out but crunching for an internal demo reeks of “That guy from corporate is coming over tomorrow and we need to impress him”
