1. 4 months ago, The Supreme Court gave families a right to opt out of LGBTQ+ education in schools.

Now, in Montgomery County, Maryland, where the case originated, the results are in.

Only 43 families out of 160,000 students have exercised that new right.

@enobacon @daihard In the UK, "cyclist" is just the formal term for someone riding a pedal-powered vehicle on the country's roads. I believe in the US they get called "bikers", which always makes me think of The Fonz.

@pikesley (I also once wrote an entire source-build packaging system that built the LNX-BBC bootable business card operating system (which was once the FSF membership card) and was also used by GNOME briefly in the mid-2000s.)
