It is also something we must find no matter who we are, especially if the current state of the world has us in “flight” or “freeze” mode regularly.

In fact, this flies in the face of the idea that hope is the same as naïveté. Hope is a choice one makes despite knowing and understanding systemic issues. Hope is not just a way of looking at the world. It’s a practice that is made all the more powerful when we know where to direct that practice.

That and providing reasoning and visualizations behind what might otherwise just be CBT, a form of therapy a lot of people struggle with because they need reasons and narratives that are flexible and fit what they are dealing with, not just edicts.
