This is something that has been burning in the back of my mind. I use Google Scholar frequently (both for dissemination of my own research and, more importantly, to find other people's work!) and its sudden disappearance would hit me hard. We need to build resilience to online services (contd.)
Since search is dead, how soon do you think Google Scholar is headed for the Google Graveyard? I'm betting it's soon, and academia is NOT prepared
