Building relationships comes before all for me. A new principal asked me to find her a read aloud for her 1st assembly. I volunteered to fill the lobby display case with books. She walked away from our conversation knowing she has a partner in this work. Let's do this.

#TLSKYchat we have to remember that WE (librarians) don't necessarily know ALL that others do--so it's OK that others dont know us...we just need to do, share, change as needed, and repeat.

Beautiful...I often read about 3rd spaces and how so many (esp teens and elders) have lost their 3rd spaces...just being able to BE is a gift...continue to be rpoud of that philosophy. #TLSKYchat
