I think we watched season 1 then skipped to like season 3 when they did the time leap and made it through maybe one more season. I should have known from the moment the klingon/orcs showed up.

No don't - it's horribly written and acted. It has some passible moments but it's so over the top emotional it feels like you're being beaten over the head with having to care about the characters.

Potoooooooo or variations of Pot-8-Os (1773 - November 1800) was an 18th-century thoroughbred racehorse who won over 25 races and placed higher than some of the most prominent racehorses of his time. He went on to be an important sire, whose leading runners included Epsom Derby winners Waxy, Champion, and Tyrant. He is best known for the unusual spelling of his name, pronounced Potatoes.

Plus it's both dark and serious but also light and had comedic moments. Ensemble cast that just hits. Most boring analysis of all time but wtf are they doing these days. Discovery & Picard were just unwatchable. SNWs has been barely acceptable but streets better than the other two.

DS9 and the other 90s treks are surely not perfect but GOD DAMN you watch 30 minutes of the pilot and they set up about 10 different threads that'll be explored in the next 7 seasons. The writing is just good.
