It’s been depressing being directly involved, it could have been delivered in a much better way, planned & owned by us
Literally the only upside for me in building it, is Scotland has huge installed capacity, which means we mostly use 0 carbon electricity, which has got to be better than not

What is depressing is that a large number of developers are the state owned energy companies from other EU countries, so some of Scotland’s renewables development is state owned - just not by us 🤷♀️

And another one! The ridiculous tax breaks given to shooting estates will end on 1st April. A win for a long-running @scottishgreens.org campaigns.
Crofts will quite rightly continue to receive support, but blood sports estates owned by wealthy elites will finally start paying their fair share.
