I've shared the Dogfriend Sweater before, but its my only pattern with a heart motif, so you get it again 😂

A Beagle Friend models her new sweater. The sweater is knit cream, with teal colourwork. The upper body features a motif of tiny repeating hearts. Around the torso is a band of larger hearts. The tiny heart motif returns at the bottom of the sweater. The Dogfriend Sweater, minus the dog. You can better see the construction of the sweater. It is knit in the round, beginning at the collar. Once you reach the front leg, the sweater is no longer knit in the round. instead, it breaks in to 2 pieces -- a strap the runs length-wise down the centre of the belly, and the top, which is shaped to curve over the back and around the front legs, until joins with the belly strap. The two pieces are then attached by buttons Laid out flat, it is also easier to see the colourwork pattern -- the top half of the sweater is a dense pattern of alternating teal and cream stitches. The motif doesn't look very much like hearts on its own. However, further down around the belly of the sweater, there is an explicit band of large alternating hearts. When placed along side these obvious hearts, the smaller stitches likewise give the impression of hearts. Beagle Friend sits patiently, while she is fitted in her sweater. A chopstick holds live stitches across her front as we check how the belly strap will lay. The bottom edge of the sweater is held on circular needles.

No, the world has not breached the 1.5C global warming target.

It’s a climate target - which means it’s an average that must be sustained over at least a decade.

We currently sit at 1.2 C. Which is already very bad.

The science is clear: every bit of warming matters, every action matters.
