We need to get big money out of politics and reform our electoral system.

If you are surprised by the current state of affairs, may I suggest rereading US history from an Indigenous or Black perspective?

This is how our government has been corrupted:

1) Donors give huge sums to elect politicians to office.
2) Elected officials rewrite the rules in the donors' favor.
3) Donors make a huge profit.
4) Repeat.

For the sake of democracy, we must get Big Money out of politics.

There is virtually no fed criminal law for wealthy people in America right now. Doesn’t exist. Trump’s DOJ either drops their charges or he pardons them. Anyone can buy their way out of prison for the right price on any charge, with crime victims left shattered with no justice.

I'm no expert on the Nobel Peace Prize, but...

I'm guessing the people in Oslo don't give it to authoritarians who take food and healthcare from their own citizens, invade their cities with the military, kidnap people off the streets, and murder people in small boats in international waters.

This World AIDS Day, we remember the hundreds of thousands of New Yorkers lost to HIV and AIDS, and those living with HIV today. We must remind ourselves and each other that the fight isn’t over until the epidemic is over for everyone.

No surprise they suppressed the research!!
