Why is everything a teaser? Journalists who sit on vital news so they can release a book next year, government panels letting you know the mundane photos they released today are nowhere near as bad as the ones that they *could* release. Like, fuck, this isn't a season finale cliffhanger.

Now we decide who we want to be going forward, and how long we will collectively allow this ever escalating nightmare to last. I have hope we can prevent the worst, but we will need all of our resolve & engagement. We have no clue what will happen in 3 years. The upcoming mid terms are our critical.

Our institutions are captured. Our political structure as we knew it has been subverted and forever changed. I look to my fellow Americans and ask, Are we just going to mechanically respond to the news cycle as it happens? Or should we break from our delusion of the possibility of course correcting.
This is a video I think every American could benefit from hearing. A perspective on US politics from a German citizen, who previously lived here before fleeing due to concerns over our slide into fascism. Our political system is captured. We stand at a cross roads, under a new age of technology.
