How could this happen? Ronald Reagan and his embrace of Jerry Falwell's Evangelical "Moral Majority" - itself a precursor to Project 2025 - laid the groundwork for the Tea Party, and then Donald Trump and MAGA. All of what is happening today can be traced directly back to Reagan. All of it.
