Hello, for my first original post here’s some of my favourite personal pieces and the ones featured in my profile banner.

A Woman with brown and red hair, devil horns, a halo looped around one of her horns, devil tail and mismatched wings, one wing blue, one wing black, takes a selfie sticking her tongue out in a cute way while holding a knife close to her face. One eye is closed in a playful wink, the other is scarred from past injury and missing, her hair appears tucked behind her ear to show this fact off. (This was not self inflicted she is just trying to not be shameful of her scar). Her outfit consists of a form fitting grey vest, a black and red striped scarf around her neck, blue jeans and purple arm warmers that cover most of her arms except the shoulders. There’s a speech bubble coming from her but instead of speech it has a stylized anatomical heart gushing blood in it, like a macabre emoji. In the center of a fur lined Dream Catcher is a canine like skull with twisted red horns. The skull has glowing white eyes piercing from the darkened sockets, as well as blood dripping from the teeth. There is a blood red crescent moon smeared on the skull’s forehead like war paint. Three striped feathers hang from the dream catcher. A Dream Catcher is a circular hoop of Native American culture with weaved threads in the middle like a spiders web believed to catch bad dreams. A mostly grey cat with an extra eye in the middle of their forehead holds between their two clawed paws, the moon. Silver and golden stars and a colorful galaxy swirl around the cat. The cat’s eyes and the moon appear to be glowing, and the centered eye is golden and its pupil is the shape of a four pointed star.

The colors on the skull are shaded to appear to be shifting between a variety of colors from purple, to blue-green, and green, with hot pink used as highlight. There is an outline and shading of dark blue to distinguish the details of the skull.

So I just finished reading my copy of this and it was so good. I'm in tears. MOC just absolutely nailed it with this one. Highly recommend if you're looking for a great LGBTQ+ fairytale!

I'm really glad I got a hard copy, cause it feels like one I'll read again fondly.

My piece for #transdayofvisibility that I debuted at a trans day of visibility art show today in Spokane.
A chubby trans man with top surgery scars, self harm scars on arms including an X on shoulders, and stretch marks sits on the edge of a brick building. He has feathered wings like an angel representing the colors of the trans flag, pink, blue and white. There’s a halo above his head wreathed in blue and pink tinted flames. His hair is purple, and he has side burns and a goatee, facing to the side with closed eyes. The sky is an orange and yellow sunset.

hire them. It's REALLY hard already for visibly trans people to get jobs, even before this shit.

Support places that have trans people working front of house, and make sure owners know that's part of why you're there.
