"In order to impeach Noem, House Democrats would need to secure a simple majority, or 218 votes, in favor of impeaching her. This process typically begins with an investigation in the House Judiciary Committee, of which Kelly is not a member." -

The important thing now is to use this to organize.
We are now up to 70 co-sponsors in the effort to #ImpeachKristiNoem
WASHINGTON — With the support of nearly 70 colleagues, Rep. Robin Kelly (D-Ill.) on Wednesday introduced three articles of impeachment against Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem. www.huffpost.com/entry/democr...

Oh wow, a CEO who sees their employees as disposable. Churn 'em and burn 'em, he says.
I say this with utmost respect, but Taylor is an absolute tool for saying this privately or publicly.
I can say on good authority that it takes 7 to 10 years to develop game development skills to “good enough” to produce commercial game content. 7-10 years plus the cost of a university education.

For all the grandstanding, Democrats have been nowhere to be seen on the ground in Minnesota. The work there is being done by leftist groups, immigrants rights orgs, and random citizens. Took Walz almost a week to visit Good's memorial. Democrats do not functionally exist in the conversation anymore

Today I get to unveil the UK cover for THE DRAGON HAS SOME COMPLAINTS!

The art is by the legendary Stephen Player, who has done art for Barker and Pratchett. I adore how he shows off the different personalities of Garrodigh's heads!

It comes out in the UK from @arcadiabooks.bsky.social this July!

The Hmong are here because they fought for the US in a war we lost.
"“They specifically asked me if I knew where the Hmong families lived on my street & in the neighborhood.” Lugert-Thom responded, “I don’t know anything about that” & she said they then asked, “Well, what about the Asian families?”"

"“I was a bit shaken & a bit shocked of what I was asked to do.”"
A St. Paul resident says federal officers knocked on her door and asked her to identify Hmong and Asian households in her North End neighborhood last week.

In sociology, there is this thing called “Labeling Theory,” which is the idea that negative labels (like "criminal" or "deviant," or in this case “late”) can cause individuals to internalize those labels, leading to a self-fulfilling prophecy.
