These costumes really ruin the optics of the propaganda videos the far right wants to make, which is what they're there for.

ICE will eventually target them and brutalize them to try to run them off, so they can get useful propaganda video. I hope they're prepared for that.

And I can't deny how profound the wish fulfillment is to be able to stand in defiance of the worst ending, the greatest grief, and even if only against a fraction of a moment, cry "no further."

People who care about one another, torn apart by conflict not of their design or choosing, only finding each other again after the grief of their separation and the trauma of the intervening years has irrevocably changed them both, and how their unconditional love is both agonizing and healing.

Again and again as I continue to play, my eyes fill with tears at the honest depictions of tragedy and grief. Maybe I wouldn't be anywhere near as touched as I am in other circumstances. But the things making me cry are things that deserve to be cried over.
