I am so excited to start the 2nd session of the 75th General Assembly! My first bill, HB26-1027, was introduced on the first day. This bill is in partnership with rural school districts, working to ensure educators can continue working in their field of expertise without losing access to benefits.🧑🏫

The people who are anxious about this should funnel those anxieties to either their local race of choice in 2024 or sister district.
if i want water from the sink, i have to turn on the faucet. if i want to ride my bike, i have to pedal and engage the gears. there is a mechanism. my point is that there is no *mechanism* by which elections can be canceled. it's not about norms, it is about how things work.

I volunteer at Sister District Project (since 2017); elections MATTER, and it absolutely starts with state legislatures.
Only 6 Dem trifectas in 2016 after Karl Rove’s Redmap gerrymandered 1,000 seats away: today, we have nearly tripled with 16, after VA’s massive blue sweep in November.
