I need to go through those boxes again. He had all sorts of stuff from like early silver age through to the oughts. My favorite to revisit is always the Y2K issue of Wizard where half of it was dedicated to Pokémon and there was a huge spread drumming up hype for Superman 64

My grandpa loved to give me these giant boxes of comics he'd collected over the years (hes still around, just stopped collecting lol) and I always remember poring through some 60s Batman and seeing this strange take on Batgirl who didn't resemble any of the ones I knew. I thought she was so cool

got around to playing Ray Frank's Having Company, a quake 2 mod that I am now convinced is one of the greatest surrealist masterpieces of our time. if you like weird shit and the aesthetics of amateur fan maps, you need to try this. I can't remember the last time a game made me laugh this much.

Dokodemo Dodgeball Fantasia (どこでもドッジボ−ルファンタジア) was a dodgeball RPG released for keitai in 2006. Yes, you read that right! It's got a coming-of-age story and a real time battle system. We preserved this game earlier this year, and it's incredibly unique.
