Five years ago today, Donald Trump urged his supporters to attack Congress and the Capitol over a proven lie. More than 140 police officers were injured.

Trump then pardoned the attackers.

He betrayed his oath and his country, and we won't ever forget it.

“Analysts or not, none of us can be neutral. Clothes are always saying something.”
Does it mean something if you tend to wear neutral colors? Was Coco Chanel’s androgynous dandyism a desire to become a version of the father she never had? Leslie Jamison explores the psychology of fashion.

The Psychology of Fashion

Cognitive dissonance has been invoked to explain why environmentalists eat meat and why some Trump supporters play down the President’s connections to Jeffrey Epstein. But some scientists doubt the validity of the concept. newyorkermag.visitlink.me/3pGqdm
Is Cognitive Dissonance Actually a Thing?
A foundational 1956 study of the concept, focussed on a U.F.O. doomsday cult, has been all but debunked by new research.
