As a guy who has to run a media company, the web has wholly balkanized and the places people get their information are YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, then everywhere else. Text-based social networks have been split up into hegemonic forums. Threads has faux scale, X has ragebait, Bluesky has jokes.

this isn't a standard treatment or anything, but i get frequent ear infections and i find it helps drain inner ear fluid to take a high-powered vibrator (i use a hitachi magic wand for it) and put it on my temple/jawbone for several minutes while flexing and relaxing my tensor tympani
